I write compelling, emotional stories that aim for the heart.

Currently, I am a multi-media journalist at News 12 Connecticut, covering Fairfield County, Litchfield County, and portions of New Haven County.

I am very passionate about covering breaking news. I enjoy being out in the field while events are unfolding around me. I perform live shots in the field using a Live U or TV U backpack.

Most recently I was a multimedia journalist and weekend evening anchor at WDVM News (formerly WHAG News) based out of Hagerstown, MD. I also was a freelance reporter for KWES-TV NewsWest 9 for the New Hampshire presidential primaries in early February of 2016. I am a former 6ABC (ABC/Disney Television) News Department Intern, Syracuse University Daily Orange Staff Writer, and NPR Member Station WAER 88.3 Intern.

I am a self-proclaimed news enthusiast. I am also passionate about traveling the world, embracing new cultures, and telling stories. Born and raised in a small town outside of Philadelphia, PA, I graduated summa cum laude from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University (bleed orange!). I have a degree in broadcast and digital journalism with a minor in marketing.

I am proficient in numerous non-linear video editing software such as, Avid Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, iMovie, Audacity, WordPress, and, AP ENPS. I have experience with social media platforms, including LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, Google+, Vine, Pinterest, YouTube, and Vimeo. I am skilled with Sony NX5 and numerous Canon cameras.
